DMEA 2019: GRAU DATA and the Dell EMC OEM team present the WORM appliance family
2026-05-13 09:36
Dell EMC’s hardware-software combination offers healthcare organizations secure and audit-proof WORM long-term archiving of sensitive and confidential data in accordance with current compliance guidelines - including certification by KPMG under standards such as GoBD, SEC, BAO, GeBÜV, etc. When data is stored - for example, from a PACS, DMS, or email system - it is automatically protected with WORM security on the appliances and can then be read but no longer modified. Optionally, the WORM data can be replicated to a secondary system to comply with additional compliance guidelines. The Microsoft Windows-based appliances integrate seamlessly into existing IT infrastructures and are easily scalable at any time.
It is also worth noting that the Dell EMC WORM appliance is compatible with NetApp’s SnapLock interface. This enables easy migration under compliance conditions at any time, including logging. The appliance is marketed exclusively through the Dell EMC organization and its sales partners.
