Bechtle, Germany’s largest IT system house, and GRAU DATA, a specialist in archiving technologies and backup ransomware protection, have entered into a partnership. As part of this partnership, Bechtle offers the two GRAU DATA solutions, FileLock and Blocky for Veeam®, and also stocks them in its online store.

Blocky for Veeam® was developed by GRAU DATA specifically to protect backups against ransomware. Thanks to WORM technology, backup data can only be modified by the dedicated backup software via fingerprint authentication. All other write access attempts, including those by ransomware, are consistently blocked. This makes Blocky the last line of defense for Windows systems to prevent data loss.

GRAU DATA FileLock is a platform-independent software archiving solution for storing and archiving data in accordance with GoBD, SEC, or other compliance guidelines. Data is provided with immutable WORM protection upon writing and is subsequently fully readable but can no longer be modified. GRAU DATA FileLock is KPMG-certified.
