The XtreemStore is a completely new development designed for companies that need to store and manage extremely large amounts of data - up to several petabytes. This hardware-independent, scalable, and object-based software solution comes standard with an S3 interface and is designed for data archiving from disk to tape media. The GRAU DATA XtreemStore Object Store eliminates the limitations of hierarchical storage in traditional file systems and block storage. Applications include universities, research institutions, libraries, and organizations in the healthcare sector, as well as enterprise companies.

A unique feature is the additional DICOM/HL7 interface, which is available exclusively through the partnership with COMBACK. This open interface, in combination with the S3 interface, is particularly important for the healthcare market, as it enables the archiving of large data volumes independently of PACS manufacturers while also representing a more cost-effective alternative.
