GRAU DATA and Dell EMC Strengthen Partnership with WORM Appliance

The new Dell EMC WORM appliances consist of GRAU DATA’s FileLock archiving software and Dell EMC hardware. This hardware-software combination offers businesses secure, automated, and audit-proof WORM long-term archiving of sensitive and valuable data in accordance with current compliance guidelines - certified by KPMG, for example, under GoBD, SEC, etc.
The Microsoft Windows-based WORM appliances integrate seamlessly into existing IT infrastructures, are easy to install, require minimal administrative effort, and can be scaled quickly and easily depending on the company’s requirements. When data is stored - for example, from a PACS, DMS, or email system - it is automatically protected with WORM security on the appliances and can then be read but no longer modified. Optionally, the WORM data storage can be replicated to a secondary system to further ensure compliance with regulations.
The Dell EMC WORM appliances are available in three variants: “Small” with up to 8 TB (net) storage capacity, “Medium” with up to 25 TB (net) storage volume, and an “L” version with up to 60 TB (net) capacity.
“With the combination of Dell EMC hardware and GRAU DATA FileLock software, we can close the strategic gap left by the discontinued EMC Centera and also tap into new markets in the lower segment,” explain Uwe Wiest, Director of EMEA Global Systems Engineering and Director of Central Sales at Dell EMC, and Herbert Grau, CEO and founder of GRAU DATA.
